Introduction:

The Manjughoksha Academy, established in 1995, mantains a high standard of education and respectfully preserves the Tibetan language, religion and culture. The majority of the students, now numbered at over 300, are Tibetan refugees together with Mustang, Gurung and Tamang children etc., who have close cultural and religious links with Tibetans.
The goals of the Manjughoksha Academy are to admit underpriviledged children as well as those whose families are able to pay the tuition and boarding fees. Donations and sponsorships by individuals and businesses are used to give the opportunity of an education to as many children as possible.
